Hello!
Meet Your Dietitian
Hi, I’m Thevaki Kulendran a registered dietitian with a big love for food and I am the founder of Arogya Nutrition.

I was raised in a Tamil-Canadian home in Ontario, Canada where food was more than just fuel—it was connection, care, comfort and culture. That experience shaped the way I approach nutrition today: with curiosity, compassion, and an understanding that food is personal.

I specialize in chronic disease prevention and management, helping adults navigate Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS, Metabolic Syndrome, Fatty Liver Disease Hypertension, High Cholesterol, IBS and work with my clients to create personalized nutrition plans that fit their lifestyle. But in addition to the science of it all, I know that food is personal. That’s why I help my clients find intuitive, culturally relevant nutrition solutions that fit their lives—not the other way around.

I created Arogya Nutrition to help people feel confident in their food choices—whether they’re managing a health condition, navigating a busy season of life, or simply wanting to feel better in their body. My approach blends evidence-based guidance with real-life strategies that are practical, flexible, and free of judgment.
Why representation of diverse Cultural foods MATTERS.
Cultural cuisines are rich, varied, and deeply rooted in tradition, lifestyle and healing practices in many cultures, Yet, in Western healthcare models and nutrition spaces, it’s often flattened into stereotypes or overlooked entirely. Recognizing and respecting the diversity of cultural diets foods is not just about inclusion—it’s about effective care. When patients see their foods represented and respected, it fosters trust, improves health outcomes, and supports sustainable, culturally relevant nutrition.
